Difficult to say what needs to be said. I reside happily in Nelson, New Zealand. I making the most
of the limited music scene. I have jammed with many from all over the region and from around the
world. I know the best never gets recorded.
I am fascinated with the fall of the music industry but more interested in the rise of the internet
age; LOFI:GARAGE is my experimentation with an online entertainment community. It's primary goal is
to pioneer the music industry in the digital age. Age of the Gen-x&y.
I started LOFI with my Co-Founder Paul as a daily one hour radio show on 107.9FM, in fact we are
still broadcasting the LOFI:GARAGE playlist. We had a confirmed listenership of 6. Daily life got
in the way and it quickly became sporadic.
It was intended to be a podcast but in 2005 bandwidth cost was huge so we went celestrial on 1
watt. I think about 20 buildings could of heard us relaibly, as one day the signal dropped out and
never really recovered to full strength.
In the coming months I am going to construct my first podcast and place them online for general
consumption. But only if it isn't complete shit.
